From Paris to the American Great South West, I have put together a collection of breath-taking images that I hope you will enjoy.
In the galleries just below the slide show you can see vistas from Mexico, Haiti and the mountains and the rocky shores in Canada. Plus some lovely views from pieces of the great state I call home, New York.
Most of the images in this section are from Damariscotta and Pemaquid Point. According to the Bristol Park website - \"Rising above crashing surf and spectacular rock formations, the Pemaquid Lighthouse is a cultural and historical treasure. Each year, about 100,000 visitors come to explore the park grounds, take in the panoramic view of the Atlantic and marvel at one of the state\'s best known icons. It is so honored that, in 2003, Maine citizens voted to use its likeness to represent them on the state quarter.\" Damariscotta is a town in Lincoln County that we visit each fall. A popular tourist resort area, the towns of Damariscotta and Newcastle are linked by the Main Street bridge over the Damariscotta River, forming the \"Twin Villages.\" The name Damariscotta is an Indian name meaning \"river of little fish\".
